Awards and a bursary to Ontario individuals and groups to recognize outstanding work in promoting communities that are inclusive of people with intellectual disabilities. Strong candidates work to ensure that people who have intellectual disabilities have equal rights, respect, and acceptance in their communities. Nominations will be considered for the following award categories:
Anne Stafford Light Up the Future Bursary: Beneficiaries of the Anne Stafford Light up the Future Bursary will be seeking to pursue a professional development opportunity through an educational program or personal interest course.
James Montgomerie Community Award: An award for an organization that demonstrates leadership and innovation in furthering the goals and vision of Community Living.
Jason Rae Leadership Award: The award is intended for a person who has shown exemplary dedication to inclusion and giving back to their community.
Media Award: The Community Living Ontario Media Award recognizes the importance of media in raising awareness of issues important to people who have an intellectual disability. The recipient will be selected based on an original news story appearing in print, broadcast, or electronic media in Ontario between January 1 and December 31 of a given calendar year.
Orville Endicott Social Justice Award: This award is presented to a person or organization who has taken personal action to challenge injustice in society in order to better the lives of people who have an intellectual disability.
Communications and Social Media Award: This award recognizes the outstanding achievement of organizations that use social media, newsletters, and websites to foster positive, socially-relevant information and messaging among people supported, families, and the broader community.

Anne Stafford Bursary: Bursaries may be granted up to a maximum of $1,000.
Jason Rae Leadership Award: $1,000 will also be awarded to the recipient in recognition of the leadership undertaken and the contributions they have made.
