First Peoples' Cultural Council (FPCC) and First Peoples’ Cultural Foundation (FPCF)
Grants of up to $50,000 per year to British Columbia indigenous tribes, communities, governments, and organizations to preserve the native languages. Funding is intended to encourage community partnerships to develop and expand new or existing language archives by documenting the languages of First Nations. Eligible funds will support a tool that communities can use to learn and interact with the native language, and that increases the accessibility of language materials for community members living out of the community.
