Union of BC Municipalities (UBCM) - Community Emergency Preparedness Fund (CEPF) and Province of BC
Grants to British Columbia local governments and First Nations for infrastructure projects. Funding is intended for projects that benefit local economies and communities through the construction of infrastructure projects to prevent flooding. Projects should prevent, eliminate, and reduce the impacts of hazards caused by flooding.

In order to qualify for funding, applications must demonstrate the need for structural flood mitigation through the completion of appropriate risk assessments, flood maps and/or mitigation plans that are consistent with the outputs of the “2020 Flood Risk Assessment, Flood Mapping & Flood Mitigation Planning” component of the CEPF.
