Opportunity for USA, Canada, and International startup businesses to participate in a cohort-based program in Texas that will lead to additional resources, mentorship, and ultimately company growth. Registration is required prior to submitting a full application. This program is designed to support innovators from different sectors by connecting high-impact startups with the resources they need to launch and succeed.

The mission of mass Challenge Texas is to make Texas the best place in the world to innovate. In 2019, MassChallenge Texas accelerated 100 startups, hosted over 65 events, grew community partner engagement to over 200 organizations, developed an expert network of over 400 business and industry leaders.

  • Sports Tech Track: The Sports Tech track supports startups that are addressing challenges faced by professional and collegiate athletes/teams/leagues through solutions including, but not limited to human health, performance, and recovery, material science, analytics or fan experience and engagement

Term of Contract:

This is a four-month accelerator.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Applications are accepted for early stage startups across all industries, from anywhere in the world. If your startup has raised less than $1M in equity-based funding, generated less than $2M in annual revenue, and is set to make a big impact in your industry or on the world, you’re an eligible candidate. If your startup exceeds these guidelines, it is still recommended that you apply for the accelerator program. There will be an opportunity on the application for you to provide more information about your current funding amounts. There is no lower-level funding or business development limit to apply to MassChallenge.

Pre-Application Information:

The deadline for applications is 1:00 PM EST on March 9th, 2020.

Registering as an entrepreneur is the first step in the application process.

- Applications Close: 9 March 2020 (Early application deadline: February 12, 2020)
- Judging: March-April 2020
- Finalist Announcement: 28 May 2020
- Accelerator Program: June - September 2020

The application fee is $49 USD before the early bird deadline or $99 USD before the regular deadline.
