Grants to USA, Canada, and International individuals, teams, and organizations for youth-led initiatives to protect and restore nature. Funding is intended for small projects and initiatives that are led by youth up to age 24 that focus on the environment in the applicants' local communities.

Grants of up to $5,000 to California nonprofit organizations and government agencies for programs that benefit disadvantaged people and advance education and music in eligible regions. Focus areas include arts, culture, and humanities, education, health, human services, and public or societal benefit. To be eligible, organizations must be located in San Francisco.

Awards to USA public or private schools under the direction of an LEA, Charter Management Organization (CMO), or the Bureau of Indian Education for establishing and implementing evidence-based health practices. Schools may apply in any or all of nine categories, including nutrition, physical education, staff well-being, and increasing family engagement. The school that meets the criteria for all nine topic areas receives a special award. All awardees will receive a promotional digital award package to help schools share their health achievements with their school community.

Grants of up to $20,000 to USA and territories female artists for art projects with an environmental focus. Funding is intended for thought-provoking projects that benefit and engage the public. Applications are encouraged from artists of color, artists with disabilities, and LGBTQ+ artists.

Grants to California nonprofit organizations for activities that enhance the lives of residents in eligible locations. Funding is intended to support programs in the areas of health, education, environment, human services, animals, religion, public or society benefit, humanities, arts, and culture. Funds must serve the residents of Long Beach.

Awards to USA individuals and organizations to recognize outstanding efforts to improve the lives of blind people. Nominees will be considered for the positive impact they have had on the lives of blind individuals through programs, services, and individual work towards breaking down barriers and changing perceptions of blindness and blind people.

Grants of up to $10,000 to California artists and grants of up to $25,000 to nonprofit organizations in eligible regions for performing and visual arts programs. Funding is intended to help local arts organizations and artists develop creative and innovative work. Eligible applicants include artists or arts organizations serving in Eastern LA County, including Westlake/Rampart/Downtown LA to East L.A; Northeast LA to the San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys; and the Southeast LA/Gateway communities of Bell, Bell Gardens, Commerce, Cudahy, Huntington Park, Maywood, El Monte, Montebello, Monterey Park, Pico Rivera, South Gate, Vernon and Walnut Park unincorporated.

Award of $1,000 to a USA media exhibit, written work, or public program for an outstanding project that has enhanced public appreciation of North American West history. The prize is awarded to projects that contribute to a broader public reflection and appreciation of the past or serve as a model of professional public history practice in the history of the North American West.

Grants of $750 to USA, Canada, and International K-12 teachers, community college faculty members, and community college students to support participation in the earth science disciplines. Awards will be made to educators and students in support of the following activities:

In-kind donations of books to USA, Canada, and International youth-serving agencies and institutions to encourage reading among children and youth. The program is intended to provide books produced by African American authors and illustrators to build organizational libraries and bring books into the lives of children.

Grants and in-kind support to USA and Canada nonprofit organizations, agencies, and Tribal Nations for educational programs related to child car safety. The purpose of this program is to decrease the rate of car-related deaths and injuries. In addition to funding, participants will receive training, support, and access to online tools.

Grants to USA artists, illustrators, and graphic designers to develop public artworks in eligible locations. Funding is intended to create designs for utility cabinets. This project is an opportunity to enhance the visual landscape by using utility cabinets as canvasses. Projects will be located at four places in Flagstaff.

Grants of up to $1,500 to California organizations for community programs to conserve or restore habitats and protect species in eligible regions. Funding will be awarded in the areas of the study and protection of wild birds, environmental education, and community outreach. Project area is within 50 miles of Sacramento.

Grants of up to $600 to California nonprofit arts organization staff and artists in eligible cities throughout the state for career development programs. Funding is intended to support mentoring and consulting fees, registration fees for training sessions, and travel and accommodations for attendance at conferences. Eligible applicants include California artists, creatives, cultural practitioners, and cultural producers, and San Francisco and San José nonprofit arts organization staff.

Grants to California nonprofit organizations, government agencies, businesses, and tribal entities to develop affordable housing options for military veterans. Funding is intended for the renovation of existing buildings or the purchase and development of affordable multifamily housing for veterans and their families. The purpose of this grant is to allow veterans to access and maintain housing stability. Grants must be used to serve veterans and their families.

Grants of up to $5,000 to USA nonprofit organizations, government agencies, schools, IHEs, and faith-based organizations for activities that respond to community needs. Applicants must complete required registrations prior to applying. Funding is intended to support programs designed to address the unique needs of the communities where the funding source operates.

Grants to California nonprofit organizations for educational, scientific, and charitable programs that benefit populations with specified disabilities and medical conditions. Funding is intended to support programs that address the problems of individuals who are blind, as well as individuals living with cerebral palsy or cancer.

Grants to USA nonprofit organizations for medical and veterinary initiatives. Funding is intended to support activities in the following focus areas: education, environment, animals, and health. Preference will be given to treatment of muscular dystrophy and to support scholarships for veterinary students.

Grants of $1,500 to USA historians, writers, independent researchers, and graduate students for historical research projects related to Iowa or Iowa and the Midwest. Priority consideration will be given to proposals offering new approaches or interpretations of previously explored topics or treating neglected topics.

Grants to California nonprofit organizations and governmental entities for human services programming in eligible regions. Funding is intended for activities and projects that help women in the area, with a focus on their physical health and their mental and emotional well being. The geographic limitation is Los Angeles and Orange County, California.
