Grants to Ontario established music nonprofits in eligible regions to support programming and general organizational operations. First-time applicants must contact program staff prior to applying. Applications will be considered from choral and opera organizations, ensembles, bands, orchestras, festivals, presenters, and producers in Toronto.
The program supports a diverse range of musical forms with a high priority given to organizations that demonstrate a consistent commitment to the development and performance of original works by Canadian composers.
The Music Program provides Multi-Year Operating support to professional nonprofit music organizations engaged in the creation, production and presentation of music, and other activities that contribute to the development of music, music artists, and music audiences in Toronto. The program aims to encourage long-term vision and planning and to provide stability for music organizations.

Multi-year grants will be paid in three, annual installments. Release of the first installment is contingent upon receipt of the signed Letter of Understanding and fulfillment of any conditions specified in the Letter of Understanding. Release of the second and third-year payments will be contingent on the organization fulfilling the interim reporting requirements that will be outlined in the grant notification letter.
