BC Naturalists’ Foundation and BC Nature
Grants of up to $2,500 to British Columbia funding-source affiliated naturalist clubs to support projects related to nature education and conservation. The primary purpose of these grants is to aid in the preservation of natural resources for future generations by supporting various education, research, and conservation projects.

-Education Programs for Friends of Semiahmoo Bay, Lillooet Naturalists.
-Nature Events and Bioblitz for Burke Mountain Naturalists, Pender Harbour & District Wildlife Society, South Okanagan Naturalists.
-Wildlife Viewing Areas, Interpretive Displays and Trail Improvements for Central Okanagan Naturalists, North Okanagan Naturalists, Saltspring Trail & Nature Club, Cowichan Valley Naturalists.
-Bird and Wildlife Checklists for Arrowsmith Naturalists, Pender Island Field Naturalists.
-Bird Monitoring, Banding and Webcam for Lillooet Field Naturalists, Mackenzie Nature Observatory, Rocky Point Bird Observatory
-Club Brochures, Websites and Outreach for Bulkley Valley Naturalists, Abbotsford Mission Nature Club, Pender Island Field Naturalists
-Restoration Activities for Chilliwack Field Naturalists, Comox Valley Naturalists, Delta Naturalists

Grants are usually for modest amounts and any one grant will not exceed $2,500.
The BC Naturalists’ Foundation and BC Nature provide grants to member naturalist clubs.
Applications which include volunteer contributions are assessed more favorably. In addition, it is encouraged that clubs contribute some funds, which could include volunteer labour, or clubs can secure funding from other sources, rather than asking for 100% of costs.
The deadline for clubs to submit applications is January 31,2018.
