Grants of up to $10,000 to USA, Canada, and International nonprofit organizations, festivals, museums, and biennials for exhibits featuring artists from Israel. Funding is intended for a range of exhibitions, including institutional or independent projects, events, or presentations that feature one or more artists who identify as being from Israel.

Artis supports exhibitions and projects that encourage critical thinking, foster discussion about contemporary art from Israel, and create new connections across disciplines and cultures.

Funding Priorities:

Artis supports projects that demonstrate advanced curatorial thinking, experimentation, artistic excellence, include audience engagement programs, and have the potential for a deep impact on an artist’s careers.

In alignment with their mission and values, Artis gives preference to cutting edge, experimental work; projects that engage with critical topics relevant to the public discourse; projects that generate transformative experiences and ideas; and projects that are interdisciplinary and collaborative, involving professionals from various fields.

Artis believes in paying artists for their work and encourage applicant organizations to include artist fees, stipends, and other forms of direct compensation for artists in application budgets.

Proposals may include a range of exhibitions, institutional or independent projects, events, and/or presentations, that feature one or more artists who identify as being from Israel. Artists may identify as being from Israel regardless of the current location of residence, race, religion, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation, political persuasion, or additional national identity.
