Grants of up to $5,000 to Alberta K-12 teachers to develop innovative approaches to energy conservation education. Project focus areas include renewable, alternative, nonrenewable, and conventional energy sources, and energy perspectives, careers, stakeholders, technology and innovation, conservation, and efficiency. The A+ for Energy program aims to provide schools funding to implement creative approaches to energy education.
Preference is given to projects that demonstrate measurable greenhouse gas emission reductions and meaningful student engagement.
