Grants of up to $10,000 to British Columbia municipalities and districts for community-based initiatives. Funding is intended for projects that advance public health and safety, strengthen regional and local economies, and protect the environment. The grant program supports a range of sustainable community projects related to improving water, sewer, drainage, and other environmental infrastructure. Grants may be used to assess the economic, environmental, or technical feasibility of municipal infrastructure projects.

Grants of up to $10,000 are available. For the first $5,000 or less of costs, the grant will cover 100% of approved costs. For the next $10,000 or less, the grant will cover 50% of approved costs.
The claim period will be for approximately two years. Requests for an extension of this claim period will only be considered where there are unforeseen or extenuating circumstances.
