Grants to Ontario athletic leagues and clubs for recovery support in the wake of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) health crisis. Funding is intended to assist community-based sports and recreational organizations, teams, clubs, leagues, and associations that have been negatively impacted by the pandemic. Grants will be issued to organizations that demonstrate the greatest financial need and a strategy to use the grant to sustain their programming.
The funding can be used at the organization's discretion to remedy programming and operational costs due to the challenges of the pandemic. Grants can be used for new programming that was planned before the pandemic but it is not intended for programs that are brand new and not planned prior to the pandemic.
